NSU's online Master's in Teaching is designed to help practicing teachers balance work, family and a master's education.
The online format is rich with opportunities for
collaboration
and interaction with peers, mentors
and academic specialists.
With NSU's M.A.T.L. program, learning online doesn't mean learning alone.
Online chats and threaded discussions among cohort members provide an opportunity to discuss issues, brainstorm solutions, work collaboratively on projects and learn about teaching conditions in other geographic areas.
Academic specialists and mentors use their content expertise and classroom teaching experience to answer your questions, discuss your concerns, provide feedback on your class assignments, and evaluate your coursework.
The M.A.T.L. program is structured around a problem-based approach to learning. You'll identify an issue in your classroom related to the course content, then use everything you learn in your coursework and from fellow students to develop, implement and assess an intervention plan.
This inquiry project approach ensures that you receive a rich, personalized learning experience while improving performance in the classroom.
NSU's M.A.T.L. program begins 4 times each year
...with September off to accommodate back-to-school schedules.
